Moving You Towards Your Goals One Step at a Time
I am an outgoing, people-oriented individual who thrives on working with leaders and individuals to transform their strengths into something extraordinary.
I studied psychology at the University of Toronto and then earned a Masters Degree in Industrial Relations (MIR) from Queen’s University. I became a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), working for many years as Human Resources Director in both the private and association sectors, but found myself in my element when I was coaching people to help them to meet and exceed their objectives. I consolidated my training by embarking upon a formal coaching certification program with Coach U and have been working as a professional coach for over 10 years, as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and as a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). I am certified to work with a number of personality assessments, including Tilt365, the MBTI, and the 8 Colors of Fitness, which I use in my coaching practice to enhance personal insight and awareness.
I currently live in Ottawa with my family. I am committed to a powerful and extraordinary relationship with my husband and three children. I endeavor to keep perspective in our hectic lives by balancing my career and personal objectives, my husband and children's goals, while creating a loving and empowering environment for our children.
Fitness has always been an important part of my life. I've been a runner for many years and have recently taken up the sport of triathlon. Recognizing the importance of physical fitness to overall health and wellbeing, I have integrated physical activity into my coaching practice by including "Coach on the Run" and "Walk the Talk" options. I believe the combination of my formal education, business background and personal life experiences has equipped me with a unique gift for coaching.
